Wright County Sheriff: 2 Arrested in Connection to Missing Man

Two people have been arrested in connection to a missing person in Wright County.

Officials say 25-year-old Christopher Rossing has not been seen or heard from since Friday, Aug. 22.

Authorities in Benton County say a man has been arrested after exchanging gunfire with a sheriff's deputy.
Chief Deputy Troy Heck says the incident began around 6 p.m. Thursday when dispatchers received a call from a man who said he was "going to a storage facility and shoot some rounds off with his gun, just for fun."

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after receiving a string of vandalism complaints over the weekend.

Overnight Saturday to Sunday, the sheriff’s office had reports of damage to mailboxes and traffic signs in St. Wendel, St. Joseph and Brockway.

Electronics, Prescription Drugs Stolen in Waite Park Burglary

Waite Park police are investigating a burglary that happened over the weekend.

A home on the 10 block of 11th Avenue North was burglarized sometime on Sunday, June 1. The victim said a PS3, 20 Blu-ray DVDs, an iPad, Wii games and prescription drugs were stolen.

Police say there was no evidence of forced entry.

A driver accused of hitting and killing a student athlete running along a Wright County road is charged with criminal vehicular homicide.          

Guilty Plea in Sauk Rapids Infant Asphyxiation Death
